Blogging opinions on Methodology and Best Practices

What started as an article entitled,  by Rocky Lhotka, accompanied by his comments on a DotNetRocks podcast regarding TDD (and the subsequent clarification of his comments on his blog posting) has seemed to have turned into a huge turf war with public responses about software development by many people, notably Scott Belware  and Jeffrey Palermo. I am not about to comment on my preference for any side of the argument except to comment that the result of these types of public discussions can only be beneficial. These are the discussions where best practices come from and the outcome can only help to improve and move forward our industry.
