In keeping with the NUnit testing and developer productivity side of things, I have created a CSharp code snippet for use in Visual Studio 2005 that creates an NUnit test stub.
To use, download
, then use the Code Snippet Manager (Tools > Code Snippet Manager) in Visual Studio 2005 to import. Ensure you change the language to Visual C# before clicking the Import button. The shortcut for writing the snippet in code is to type "test" (without quotes) and pressing tab twice.
This and my previous article containing Add Item Templates for NUnit tests in Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 come on the heels of an article from Microsoft detailing Guidelines for Test-Driven Development and an interesting blog entry regarding the article by Scott Bellware.
